“Terra Masonica” aims to delve into the following aspects: the current state of Freemasonry, the identity of Freemasons, and their activities.

These fundamental inquiries have not been thoroughly explored from a worldwide standpoint before.

Freemasonry, officially established in London in 1717, rapidly expanded across all continents. Over the past 300 years, unique entities have emerged, each shaped by the specificities of their country and local circumstances.

This global expedition across 80 lodges will highlight the commonalities and differences among lodges on all five continents. For the first time, the authentic Freemasonry will be unveiled, spanning from Patagonia to Lapland, from the USA to India, through 80 lodges. We will explore the oldest and most unique lodges on each continent.

“Terra Masonica” will engage with everyday Freemasons to investigate their current circumstances. We will encounter these Freemasons in their day-to-day lives, listen to their worldviews, their queries, and uncertainties in a world that is constantly evolving.

We will strive to comprehend the impact of the local environment that shapes the distinct attributes of each Masonic group.
