33 & BEYOND: THE ROYAL ART OF FREEMASONRY
“33 & Beyond: The Royal Art of Freemasonry, is perhaps the most fascinating and important documentary ever made on the subject matter of Freemasonry.” – David Winter, ABC News
In 2017, a compelling documentary titled “33 & Beyond: The Royal Art of Freemasonry” was released by Johnny Royal. The film, which delves into the history, purpose, and global influence of Freemasonry, was the brainchild of Royal, an active Master Mason and member of both the Knights Templar and the Scottish Rite. He often refers to himself as “the Kubrick of Freemasonry”. His inspiration to produce this film stemmed from his personal experiences within the fraternity. During his time in London in 1997, Royal discovered the Grand Lodge of London. The architectural grandeur and aesthetic appeal of the building piqued his interest, leading him to delve into the study of Freemasonry. He quickly found himself resonating with the organization’s principles. In the subsequent years of 2019 and 2020, Royal released additional films on Freemasonry, including “The Wisdom, Strength and Beauty of God’s Magnificent Glory: The Cinematic Reunion of the Missouri Scottish Rite and American Shriners of Freemasonry”. Apart from his cinematic contributions, Royal has a decade-long experience in digital marketing. He has directed digital campaigns for notable figures such as President Obama, Vice President Al Gore, and Elton John during his tenure in the industry.
