I’ve have had a long-standing interest in ancient Egypt, Ancient Sumeria, and Ancient Mesopotamia as well as the occult since I was a child, at first, I thought that ancient knowledge was elusive and only accessible to a select few. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that with some effort, (largely thanks to the Internet) I could delve into the history of Freemasonry and the occult. Over 15 years ago, I began my journey and it has had a profound impact on my life.
I discovered that Freemasonry has helped me to become a stronger and more morally grounded individual, although I’m far from where I want to be. It has also given me many positive traits such as tenacity, a strong moral compass, and a strong mental focus. This has helped me in both my professional and personal life. I am grateful for the positive influence that Freemasonry has had on me, and I know that it has similarly impacted millions of other members worldwide.
After some considerable thought, I decided to create this website for a number of reasons. Initially, I had written a small book to help educate my family members about Freemasonry. However, I soon realized that many other members of the fraternity were also facing similar issues with their families, who, respectfully, were uneducated and uninformed about Freemasonry. Some family members had also been influenced by the extremist and destructive ‘Q’ cult. Therefore in light of this, I felt it was necessary to create a more comprehensive book, now a website, that would provide detailed information about Freemasonry, as well as refute common conspiracy theories.
As the book grew in size and importance, it became clear that the best way to share the information was to transfer it to a website. This way, anyone, whether they are a Mason or not, could access it as a historical reference and a Masonic encyclopedia. I hope that this website will serve as a tool for educating people and countering the harmful rhetoric of extremist and fundamentalist groups, such as the ‘Q’ cult.
You can call me ‘Jacques DeMolay’ (in memory of the last GrandMaster of the Templars – This is my pen name & will suffice for now). I’m the Author and researcher of this website. I consider myself a private and Spiritual individual with a strong will and open mind who values my family and close friends. I continue to study and learn as much as I can, thus I am currently studying additional masonic education from both the Victorian Lodge of Research in Australia and from the Scottish Rite Supreme Council 33 Southern Jurisdiction, USA.
My current focus projects are:
The Importance of King Solomon in relation to Freemasonry. This project started early in 2023 and is expected to take around 3 years to complete. The premise is to develop a PowerPoint slide show & resulting book (with academic citations), covering the birth of King Solomon until his death, including information about his life, trials and tribulations as well as his great wisdom, all within the context of Freemasonry.
